How the Comic Generator Works

The comic generator runs in three phases — script, character reference, and panel rendering — so every panel is on-model and story-accurate.

Text-to-Script

The generator reads your story and outputs a structured panel list with dialogue and shot descriptions.

Character Reference Rendering

Each named character gets a reference portrait that conditions every subsequent panel.

Panel Rendering

Panels are rendered in parallel with the style you chose — comic book, manga, watercolor, and more.

What You Can Generate

Short comic strips for social media, multi-page comic books, manga chapters, educational comics, marketing comics — any story that fits in a text box can become a comic.

Questions

About this generator.

A paragraph — 30 to 150 words — is the sweet spot for a short comic. Longer stories work too: paste a chapter and the generator will spread it across multiple pages automatically.

Yes. Dialogue is scripted panel by panel, and you can edit any line before art renders. Speech bubbles, thought bubbles, and narration captions are all supported.

Most comics render in about 60 seconds for a short 4-6 panel piece. Longer multi-page comics take a few minutes. Everything runs in the background so you can close the tab and come back.

The script structure will be similar but character references are re-rolled each run, so the visual cast changes between runs. If you want consistency across attempts, save the first comic and use Continue Story for follow-ups.
