Lin Yue:A letter?
Story prompt
Written by qcrao
Lin Yue, a young scholar in a pale blue robe, waits alone in her small wooden boat beneath a red maple on a quiet river at dusk, watching the lanterns of a riverside teahouse light up one by one. Just as she lifts her oar to leave, a single paper lantern drifts down the water toward her, carrying a folded letter tied with a red string.
